Eighth Annual Customer Quilt Show Info

Asheville Cotton Co. is excited to announce the dates of the 2018 Asheville Cotton Co. Customer Quilt Show.

This is the quilt show for the rest of us. The Customer Quilt Show is different from other shows in that you don’t have to be an expert to enter the show or to win. Any size project is welcome.

Quilts will hang in our store from Friday, May 25 through Saturday, June 9. The public is invited to come view the quilts and cast their votes. Voters will get a free vote for their favorite quilt, and a free vote for their favorite "beginner's quilt." Voters may also choose to make donations in any amount toward any quilt or quilts. All donations will once again go to MANNA FoodBank here in Asheville.

MANNA FoodBank is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Western North Carolina since 1983 and an accredited member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief organization. In 2015 MANNA distributed 15.7 million pounds of food through some 229 community-based food assistance agencies in 16 WNC counties.

Quilt makers whose quilts receive the most money in donations to MANNA will win valuable prizes! This event typically raises several thousand dollars each year. Over the years, Asheville Cotton Co. and their customers have contributed more than $20,000 to MANNA FoodBank. That's 60,000 meals!

We're taking quilts through Saturday, May 12. Click HERE for a printable entry form.
