Peeled Back Patchwork with Annette Ornelas
Mon., June 11, 10a-4p, $60 Instructor: Annette Ornelas Annette Ornelas will be here to show you how easy her famous technique "Peeled Back Patchwork" can be! Annette became famous for this with her blockbuster pattern, "Mexican Star." In this hands-on class, you will be working on a quilt using her dimensional piecing technique that makes curved edges fast and fun. The quilt blocks you will make can be set in two different ways, making two completely different quilts! The technique involves a 3-D folded piece which is "peeled back" to form a curve and then topstitched into place to make the curve. Annette will also bring her many other patterns with her for sale, just in case you get hooked on the technique! |
