Pick your favorite jacket from the Favorite Things pattern company, and let
your creativity show through! You can choose to make the jacket as shown on
the pattern (very quick and easy!), or choose to quilt the jacket (a lot more

Learn how to cut with a rotary cutter and ruler, how to make a true 1/4"
seam, measure and cut borders, how to layer your layers, how to quilt, and
even how to bind! Janet will tell you all the hints, tips and tricks, and show
you lots of gadgets to help you along. You'll make the "Turning Twenty
Again" quilt in class.

Yes! You, too, can learn how to sew! Pick projects from either Pat Sloan's
"I Can't Believe I'm Sewing" book or "The New Handmade"
book and we'll show you how to get going! Project ideas include coasters,
placemats, French press coffee pot cover, shower curtain and valance, cell
phone bag, ipod bag, tote bags, fabric scarf, laptop sleeve, composition book
cover, messenger bag, apron, headband, zippered bag and more!! All skill
levels and ages 10 to 99+ are welcome... During the four weeks, you will work
at your own pace, allowing you to make whichever project(s) you wish.

Take a floral fabric, fuse it to a
background, and use decorative threads to thread paint textures on top of the
floral fabrics. You will also learn how to couch fibers and do bobbin work,
all while making a lovely wall hanging! So easy, a confident beginner can do
it.

Learn how to float bargello on a
freezer paper foundation (Georgia Bonesteel's Grid Grip), creating all the
strip sets for a four-block repeat wallhanging. In a 6-hour class,
bring pre-cut strips, learn the technique and sew one of the four blocks
(finish at home). You won't believe that this is an easy project, but the
