BLOOMING 9 PATCH

Wed., July 2, 10a-3p, $45
Instructor: LouAnn Hartley
Make this beautiful blended quilt from the book, "Tradition with a Twist," using your favorite florals. The blend of the fabrics is even more beautiful than the individual pieces! Even beginners can make this quilt, but more advanced quilters will find that choosing fabrics for these quilts is addictive.

Although this quilt looks very complicated, it is actually very simple to make. Watch as the quilt blooms to life. The trick is in the fabrics. When selecting fabrics start with 1 for the center and choose a fabric for #2 that has some of the same color as fabric #1. For fabric #3, choose one that has some of the same color as fabric #2 and so on. In other words, the next fabric should have a color that was in the previous fabric. If you need help picking out fabrics, please ask any of our sales associates for help.
